Vitamins

Butter-fat factor links vitamin A to xerophthalmia. The non-saponifiable butter-fat factor curing xerophthalmia is associated with vitamin A, and bone deformity/rickets with vitamin D. Yeast is a source of B vitamins, while orange juice is a source of vitamin C. Thus X contains A and D, Y contains B vitamins and Z contains C.
