OlympIQ ("we", "our", "the app") is an Olympiad discovery and practice platform. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the OlympIQ app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your email address, used to sign you in via a one-time code (no passwords are stored).
• Basic profile details you provide: full name, role (student or parent), class/grade, school name, and phone number (phone is optional).
• Your in-app activity: which chapters and questions you practice, streaks, and progress — used to power features like Chapter Intelligence and Career Bridge.

We do not collect payment information, precise location, or device contacts.

How we use your information

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To personalize your study plan and show relevant Olympiad content for your class.
• To improve the app based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns.
• To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Children's privacy

OlympIQ is used by school-age students, often with a parent's involvement. We only collect the basic profile information described above, and encourage parents/guardians to review their child's account. If you believe a child has provided us information beyond what's needed and would like it removed, contact us using the details on our Support page.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (a hosted database and authentication provider) with row-level access controls, so your account data is only accessible to you. We use industry-standard practices to protect information in transit and at rest.

Your choices

• You can update your profile details at any time from within the app.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
• You can sign out of the app at any time from the Account screen.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date above.
