Read the Nereis response
In the graph, repeated moving shadows cause withdrawal to fall quickly: habituation. Mechanical shock also reduces response but more slowly. A later moving-shadow response returns, showing that habituation to one stimulus can be independent of response to another.
OlympIQ exam lens
- ✓Habituation = reduced response to repeated stimulus.
- ✓Moving-shadow habituation is faster here than shock habituation.
- ✓A second stimulus can test response specificity.
OlympIQ trap
