Track the ABO alleles

An AB parent passes A or B; an O parent passes O. Their children can be A or B, never AB or O.

Treat Rh separately

Rh-positive phenotype can result from one or two dominant D alleles; without parental genotypes, a Rh-positive child can be possible even if not guaranteed.

OlympIQ exam lens

  • ✓AB × O gives A or B.
  • ✓ABO and Rh are separate inheritance systems.
OlympIQ trap
