Gas Transport

Tissue capillary exchange. Oxygen diffuses from blood to tissues at systemic tissue capillaries, so blood loses the most oxygen there.

Hemocyanin

Blue blood supports oxygen transport in some invertebrates. Hemocyanin is a large copper-containing respiratory protein that circulates freely dissolved in the haemolymph rather than inside red blood cells. It can carry multiple O2 molecules because it is a large multimeric protein. Therefore statements A and C are accepted in the official key.
